01
The idea
Analytics tools hold the answers, but getting to them usually means dashboards, filters and exports. This project explored a simpler path: let an AI assistant ask the question for you.
An MCP server sits between the assistant and the analytics API. You ask in plain language, the server runs the right report, and the assistant explains what came back.
Ask the question the way you'd ask a colleague. Get the answer, not the dashboard.
02
How it fits together
Three parts, one conversation. The assistant understands the question, the server translates it into an analytics request, and the data comes back as a plain-language answer.
Nothing here depends on a particular dashboard, which makes the pattern easy to reuse for other data sources.
